1. Introduction

Welcome to 2B Frank Counselling. By using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using our services.

2. Cancellation and Rescheduling

a. Client Responsibility: If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide at least 24 hours of notice. This allows us to offer the time to other clients.

b. Provider's Responsibility: We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your rescheduling needs.

Sessions:

• You will be offered an agreed number of sessions, typically between 6-12, with one session per week. After 4 sessions, we will review progress together.

• Sessions last 50 minutes. If you arrive late, the session will still need to finish at the scheduled time.

• If you need to cancel a session, please provide at least 24-48 hours' notice. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice may be chargeable.

• If you miss more than 3 sessions without prior notice, we will review whether continuing counselling is appropriate. If no contact I will discharge you.

 

3. Refunds

a. Counselling Services: Fees paid for counselling services are generally non-refundable. However, exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis at our discretion.

b. Art Sessions: Art session fees are typically non-refundable. In the event of a cancellation or rescheduling, we will work with you to find an alternative session time.

4. Confidentiality

Your privacy is paramount to us. Information disclosed during sessions will be kept strictly confidential, except where required by law or where there is a risk of harm to you or others. For a more detailed explanation of our confidentiality policies, please refer to our separate Privacy Policy.

Confidentiality is a fundamental part of our counselling relationship. However, as part of ethical practice, I receive professional supervision where I may discuss aspects of our work together. Your identity will not be revealed in these discussions.

All session notes are kept securely and anonymously in line with data protection regulations. Confidentiality may only be broken under the following circumstances:

1. If you give consent for information to be shared (e.g., with your GP).

2. If required by law, such as preventing a serious crime.

3. If there is an immediate risk of physical harm to yourself or others.

4. If I am concerned about your safety, I may need to contact emergency services or safeguarding bodies.

 

5. Privacy Policy

6. Professional Memberships

We are proud members of the BACP and APCCA and adhere to their respective codes of ethics and standards. Our professional conduct is guided by these memberships.

 

7. Copyright

All content on our website, including text, images, and artwork, is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our explicit permission.

 

8. Changes to Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to update these terms and conditions at our discretion. It is your responsibility to regularly review these terms for any changes.
